The spotlight shifts back to the cartoon community as the playoff push reaches the climax with four matches left in the group stages before we get into the playoffs in August. Going into Group C, a lot of stuff is written with the final set of matches with a playoff berth and the number one seed up for grabs. And yes, it’s possible that a losing candidate, regardless of the result since it’s based on the standings, might make the playoffs.

Going into Match 9 of the Group C stages, the defending champions Bob’s Burgers and the incumbent champion Louise Belcher have already won the group following her win over Luz Noceda a few weeks ago and now, her eyes are set on the number one seed for the Bravo Party and hopefully the road to the Final Round in the cartoon community would go through her. However, your opponent whose season is on the line may have something to say about that. Because the Adventure Time fandom with Fionna Campbell, her season is on the line. Sitting outside of the playoff bubble following her loss against Molly McGee and now, a win against Louise, an upset win at that since Louise is the favorite in this match, could save her season and get into the second or third place spot since Louise already took the first place spot. However, two other candidates also want to nab a playoff spot or two if they want to advance as well.

With the tenth and final match of the Group C stages, you have Turanga Leela (Futurama), who won in an upset over Luz Noceda back in May before going into a bye throughout the month of June, sitting at a 1-2 record with 57 votes in her column, sitting outside of the playoff bubble. Molly McGee (The Ghost and Molly McGee) on the other hand, sits inside the playoff bubble after winning her first match of the season to stay alive in the race over Fionna Campbell a few weeks ago. Both of those candidates looking to advance to the next round along with Fionna, fighting for the remaining two spots for the group in the playoffs. Yes, I said two because Louise already nabbed the first one just a few weeks ago. So either one or two candidates might be moving on to the playoffs by the end of this week. And there is one other fandom who is not on the ballot for this week but might have to keep tabs on.

That would be The Owl House and Luz Noceda. She’s not the on ballot since she had done her four matches but with losses in her last two matches, an upset loss against Leela, and a loss against Louise that handed her the group, The Owl House fandom is on the verge of elimination for the third straight year if either of the three candidates go over her 83 votes in her column. This could explain why we haven’t called for The Owl House to clinch a playoff berth because you have three other candidates vying for that spot or two. So now, if you’re fans of The Owl House who participated in this voting for this season, all you can do is watch through the socials and see the results.
