    ◌ :::Greek Mythology

Modern      day      Otherworldly     Theories

are just   a reflection      of   stories     that

have         been        ed       on        from

Generations ,   and     Greek     Mythologies

Differs   not much . It   is   just    tales   of

myths     told     by    ancient   Greeks    that

have , in   the   same   way   been ed

on . But    Greek   mythologies   are   often

known     to         entertain       mythological

creatures that   would   seem   impossible

to   exist   in the modern World and thats

what makes them all the more interesting

         We   can often find BTS mentioning Greek

          Gods in their songs or   using some kind

         of reference   in   their music videos , and

          today am going to explain some of   these

          Greek mythologies and the story behind it.

         Everything i mention is what i think and i                               

          maybe wrong . Its just a theory.

As   legend goes Icarus was the son of a craftsman   called   Daedalus . Both father

and son had been imprisoned in   a   cell

which was in a high tower in the middle

of    a    ocean    to    prevent   them      from

escaping . So his father had thought of

a way of elopement , the tower was high , chances of successful escapade were less .

                  Being a master craftsman Daedalus

                   spent days creating wings out of wax

                  and feathers so that both of   them

                   could     easily   conquer   the    height

                  of the tower and   elope.

The   special wings were made and all was

set     but   there   was   only   one   problem ,

Daedalus specially told his son not to fly

too high or too low since the heat of the

sun could melt the wax while the moisture

from   the   sea could   dampen the wings.

                Icarus    ignored   all   warnings . After

               escaping the tower with the crafted

               wings ,   his want to   explore further

               made him fly towards the sun . But he

               flew too high . The heat of the sun

               began to melt the wax of his wings

                and soon , Icarus fell into the   ocean

                and drowned.

In the blood sweat and tears MV we can find taehyung jumping off a balcony and if we look into the scene more intricately we will see that while jumping there is a landscape in front of him and this painting is called "landscape of fall of Icarus".

Icarus had tried to fly too high resulting in his fall and here taehyung jumps so theoritically he falls .

In run MV taehyung is seen falling into the ocean too and as we know , the bts MV's are connected to each other so , the question is. Is taehyung Icarus?

Taehyung is often shown as a fallen angel but an angel can fall only when they have comitted a grave sin.However, It is not easy to make an angel fall and it is said that they have to do something really grevious to fall

In the last scene of the blood sweat and tears mv when we see taehyung kneeling down with his back towards us there are no marks on his body except the ones on his back from where his wings had grown .

From the beginning we have seen how the boys who were once happy grew distant and sad and soon drifted apart , forgetting everything. But it was only jin who ed and hence he tried to go back in time , each time trying to make the timeline right and help the boys. Jin is shown as the good one while in many instances we can find tae being shown as the bad one ,the fallen angel.

In BST Mv we see jin kissing the statue nd then his face breaks . This can signify the breaking of an outer personality, the side of the person which is shown in society. What if jin had been the one who had been harming the boys all along and hence the timeline wasnt beeing able to be made right and continuing like a loop ,all because jin was trying to help but behind a mask of the good one , when in turn he had been the one harming everyone all along. And what if tae had been the good one all along , trying the help the boys but behind a mask of the evil one as seen in singularity where he says that he cannot show his true self and that he must hide.

We all know that euphoria was jungkooks dream , a realith which they wanted to attain but could never have . But why? Why couldnt they come out of the loop ? Jin was trying his hardest in all the lifetimes right ? But did we ever think that jin who is shown as their saviour might be the actual devil , the one harming everyone , secretly , silently , hence the loop was being continued.

And maybe it was taehyung who was actually trying to help but secretly since he was not allowed to reveal himself . He saw everyones suffering but he tried to hide his pain behind a mask . He hid himself and became someone that wasnt him . But he did it to protect his friends . Taehyung knows everything but his voice is buried so he cannot speak up and us helpless.

Taehyung is shown as a fallen angel so he must have been an angel at some point. But what did he do ? Why did he fall?

Maybe it was because he tried to save his friends when he wasnt supposed to so now his voice is buried and he has hidden himself under a mask . Maybe he shouldnt have tried to save them , and so he says,

"Have i lost myself

or have i gained you"

But now he is asking if he made the right decision by throwing himself down , did his sacrifice really help.He asks What was he even supposed to do then.

Another thing to notice is that jin kisses the statue of the fallen angel in bst . In english language there is a phrase called "seal the deal with a kiss" , and if we consider that then it would mean that jin made a deal with a fallen angel and sealed their deal with the kiss.

But why does jin need to make a deal with someone? That too a fallen angel.
