It was a nerve-wracking day as ARMYs around the world waited for Billboard to announce the results of HOT100 chart for this week. Some people stayed up really late while others were waiting in the wee hours before sunrise. We still don't know the reason why Billboard delayed the announcement too much today. Some were speculating that BB loves to tease us while some say BB just loves the attention as people started BB coz they're getting impatient for the announcement. Oh, BB trended in Twitter as a result of the tagging.

Anyways, we all probably heard a collective sigh and some cheering as the announcement came out and BTS Dynamite still ranked high at #2 on its 3rd week on the HOT100 chart.

BTS’s “Dynamite” is showing impressive longevity as it lands No. 2 in its third week on Billboard’s Hot 100!

The group’s English-language single “Dynamite” became the first song by an all-South Korean act to reach No. 1 on the Hot 100 when it debuted at the top two weeks ago. It then continued to make history as it took No. 1 again the following week.

Billboard has now announced that “Dynamite” has grabbed No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart dated September 19. “Dynamite” continues to top the Digital Song Sales chart with 136,000 s sold in its third week, and it takes No. 16 on the Streaming Songs chart, with 13.3 million U.S. streams. It’s also landed BTS’s first entry on the Radio Songs chart, debuting in the No. 49 spot with 18.3 million radio airplay audience impressions.

The Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the United States across all genres based on streaming, radio airplay, and sales data.

Billboard’s website will update its charts for this week on September 15.

BTS have grabbed high ranks on Billboard’s new charts that rank songs based on international streaming and sales!

On September 14, Billboard and MRC announced that they have launched two new weekly charts to rank the most popular tracks globally: the Billboard Global 200 chart and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.

Both charts are based on sales and streaming data from more than 200 territories, and the rankings are determined by a weighted formula that combines official-only streams on both subscription and ad-ed tiers of leading digital platforms with s from major online music retailers around the world.

The first charts reflect data from the tracking week of September 4 to September 10. While the full rankings will be announced on September 15, the top 10 on each of the inaugural charts have been revealed.

“WAP” by Cardi B featuring Megan Thee Stallion takes No. 1 on the first ever Global 200 chart, with 100.9 million global streams and 23,000 global s for the tracking week.

BTS’s “Dynamite” grabs No. 2 on the Global 200, after racking up 83.4 million streams and 36,000 s. This makes “WAP” the most-streamed title for the week globally, while “Dynamite” was the top-selling track around the world.
