Tropes; I think it’s fair to say that everyone has a love/hate relationship with them. I know that for me personally, some tropes, such as enemies to lovers and reformed heroes make my heart soar, while others, such as love triangles and Mary Sues make me grit my teeth in annoyance. This might be a weird answer. But I think I’m the other girl in the “I’m not like other girl” statement. I’m the emotional, very feminine, very day dreamer girl trope. And I kinda think it sucks that girl usually only exists in books to point out how awesome the “cool girl” is. Like lavender in Harry Potter compared to Hermione or cho compared to Ginny.
I know I say this a lot,but I want to a blog for this. Sometime this week I will.

Definitely, and I’m glad you thought so! Like I definitely fit the box for the quiet, awkward, and bookish protagonist to a T, but this trope does still sometimes annoy me in other books.
