I fell in love with the outer space motif in middle school because of the Star Wars franchise. They both have the perfect balance of ham and natural beauty, a perfect description of the Star Wars narrative. It's tacky, but it still somehow works and I love it.
In Empire Strikes Back, Luke travels to the Dagobah System to visit Yoda. This setting served as the design inspiration for one of my most recent low-light aquarium setups:
