Hello, awesome people! How are you today? I haven't done a book tag in a really long time, so I wanted to try this masterpiece right here and see how it goes. All credits go to the lovely Eden, who crafted this amazing tag. Let's get started, friends!

◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌
Joyce Byers
A character who would do anything for his/her family

Molly Weasley
I've got the feeling that many people will choose Molly Weasley as the answer to Eden's first prompt, but she's the embodiment of loyalty and bravery. Molly would do absolutely anything for her family and would never hesitate in front of danger. She would put her children and husband first and then herself. I'll always ire her courage and resilience. Definitely an unforgettable heroine.

Will Byers
A character who has a lot going on beneath the surface

Azriel
It took me a while to find a good answer for this prompt, but here I am. I'm choosing Azriel from the "A Court of Thorns and Roses" trilogy by Sarah J. Maas. Azriel is one of my favorite characters of all time and I love him to shreds. He seems like a secondary and slightly unimportant character when we originally get introduced to him, but then we realize that there's so much more hidden in the shadows (yes, pun intended). Also, tragic love story there. And you know I'm a sucker for tragic loves.

Nancy Wheeler & Jonathan Byers
A ship you haven't decided if you like or not

Harry Potter & Ginny Weasley
Yes, I it it. I can't really decide whether I love this couple or not. I liked it back when I read the books and watched the films for the first time, but the more I think about them together, the more difficult it gets to decide if I really love them as a couple. They are fitting and adorable together, I'm not going to deny that. But sometimes I feel like their relationship was rushed and I'm all for slow-burning romamces and quiet, albeit sizzling, chemistry. And those two didn't really have something like that. Please don't hate me, hehehe.
◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌
Mike Wheeler
A book or character that you love more than anything in the world

Tyrion Lannister
Yes, I know that I'm predictable like hell. But I couldn't resist mentioning one of my favorite characters of all time. Yes, he is a bit of a tool from time to time, but he is also a genius, you can't deny that. Where his body isn't strong, his mind totally makes up for it. He has made me laugh numerous moments and he is very witty and sarcastic. And I absolutely adore sarcastic characters who use words as weapons -to put someone back to their place, not kill. I cannot wait to see what Martin has in mind for him in the last books of the series.

Eleven (Jane Ives)
A kick butt female character

Veronyka
Yes, I'm sure most of you don't know who she is. And that's because Veronyka is the main character in the "A Crown of Feathers" book by Nicki Pau Preto, which is a book that hasn't been released yet, though it comes out later this month. This book is about phoenix riders! Yes, you read that right! Not dragon riders, phoenix ones! Isn't that terrific? No spoilers, though. Veronyka is such a brave, strong, fierce, and brilliant main character. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to claim it. She is wise and kind. Please read this book!
◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌
Jim Hopper
A book, series, or character that continues to surprise you

Amy Dunne
Yes, quite a controversial answer here, but I just can't stop thinking about this character and the book in general. I didn't particularly like it the first time I read it and I was so and so as far as the film goes. But a few years ago, I decided to give it one more chance and it blew me away. There were so many layers and details that I'd missed the first time around. Also, psychological depth and analysis! Speechless! Amy truly is one of the scariest and most manipulative main characters of all time. I definitely wouldn't want to cross paths with her. Did you like the book and the film?
◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌
Steve Harrington
A character who you initially didn't like but eventually grew on you

Jaime Lannister
Too many characters from the "A Song of Ice and Fire" saga, but I just love them so much, so please forgive me. I can't think of a better character who fits the prompt above. I really hated Jaime at first for the disgusting and spoilery reasons that we all know. Like, yikes. But as the books and TV seasons progressed, Jaime grew on me. He isn't deeply horrible, though he has done many scary and unforgiving things. He isn't one of my favorite characters by any means, but he has definitely become wiser, more mature, and less selfish as the saga has progressed. What do you think of him?

Dustin Henderson
A book with comedy elements and/or a book that makes you utterly happy

"The Hating Game" by Sally Thorne
This book flawlessly fits the prompt above, as it simultaneously has comedy elements and makes me warm and fuzzy on the inside. It features a hate-to-love relationship that is slow burning, adorable, hilarious, and deeply enjoyable to read. So many funny dialogues, banters, and sizzling chemistry between the two main characters. It's such a well-written book with exceptional scenes and pace of the plot. I truly hope you'll adore it. Thorne's second book, "99 Percent Mine", was released just a few days ago. Hooray!

Lucas Sinclair
A character whose storyline always gets lost in the fray, or a character you'd like to know more about

Neville Longbottom's parents
Okay, a bit of a weird answer, but I honestly would love to know more about them. We all know they die tragically, but we don't get many details on their lives before their murder, how they fell in love, or even their lives before that. For some reason, I'd like to see some chapters from their perspective if possible. They seem so sweet and amazing.
◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌
Max Mayfield
A character who came in late but makes a nice addition to the cast

Lucien Vanserra
This is one of the most known characters of the "A Court of Thorns and Roses" series by Sarah J. Maas. We get introduced to him relatively early in the books, but he doesn't become an important part of the plot until later. I've got to it here that I really disliked Lucien when we first had a chance to get to know him. I couldn't justify his actions and the reasons behind them, but now I understand that I was blind. He has now become one of my favorite characters.
◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌ ◌
Billy Hargrove
A character or book you will always hate

Dolores Umbridge
Well, I believe many people will agree here. Dolores Umbridge is one of the most hateful characters in Fantasy. I hated her when I first read the books, but my feelings intensified during the movies. Imelda Staunton did a fantastic job in the films and she was the perfect embodiment of Dolores. Being such a great actress, she brought the character to life, making all of us wanting to use the dreaded quill on her. Well, we will always hate her.

That is all with this book tag, lovely friends. Let me know what you think of the characters I mentioned and, please, feel free to do the tag as well, it's so much fun. I hope you're having a great weekend full of books, writing, and laughter! See you around!

Happy reading and writing! :book: :book: :book:

It's unbelievable how long we have to wait for the next season... :joy:
Harry Potter is my favriote series Zel how did you start feeling that way?
Reply to: Magical books
I love this series, too!
I don’t really like Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley as a couple. It seems... forced. Them being together doesn’t feel right to me.

I agree, fam! Thanks for the props!

 No problem!
When I was reading the Cursed Child (which I believe is trash), I was caught off guard by them being a couple. It was an odd surprise.
Jamie Lannister: Jamie is a hero in so many more ways than I ever would have realized out of the gate. He is an absolute monster of a person, but his willingness to learn and better himself while generally acknowledging he is a monster (that might just be my opinion on how he acts) makes him a character I could see myself being fast friends with, if only so I could help him become a better person.
Longbottoms: I thought they were alive and too broken and insane to be cured???
Overall great blog. I'm not one for booktags but I really enjoyed this one. It's fantastic.
Yes, well, I think later on Rowling said they die, though I may be wrong on this one. Yes, Jaime is a marvelous character with so much depth.
Great job with the tag! I agree with Harry and Ginny. I never felt their chemistry. And Veronyka!!!!! I love her.
Thanks, hon! I'm glad you like it! I agree, I don't know if they are really made for each other after all... And, yes, Veronyka is fantastic!!!
