Hi friends! It is almost February, which means that it is almost Valentine’s Day! Even though I have never had a significant other to celebrate with, I use the month as an excuse to indulge in romance stories. So here are some books that I am hoping to read in the month of February!

1. Jane Austen Novels

I am going to bust through as many of these as I can, starting with Pride and Prejudice. These will all be re-reads for me, but I don’t most of them very well. Jane Austen is the queen of romance with sassy social commentary. I can’t wait to revisit these stories and fall in love with all of the swoony love interests again.
2. I Capture the Castle

The description of this book is very vague, so basically all that I know about this book is that it is a historical fiction romance, and that it has really great reviews. This book has been on my radar for a while, so I think that February will be the perfect time to pick it up.
3. The Night Circus

I have technically read this book, but it was so long ago that I almost nothing about it. This is a shame because everyone raves about this book. I just know that it is a magical circus story that involves a romance, so I figured that now would be a fitting time to revisit the story.
4. Dragon Slippers

I don’t think that I can resist the pull to re-read this book for much longer. It has been calling my name for a while now. This book is not primarily a romance, but there is a super cute love story that just makes me really happy. So I might as well indulge myself for Valentine’s Day.

So those are the romance books that I am hoping to read in the month of February! Let me know your thoughts if you have read any of these books!
