Chapter 9 - meeting breaker x breaker

• Chloe sat up from the floor just as guns were pointed at her and rocky. "Any of you bit?" The man asked. I stiffen and shake my head no as I look up at him. Payton He did the same before he helped me up from the floor. The man motioned for the guards to lower their weapons, reluctantly, they did so as the man then turned to me and smiled. "You must be chloe." he said as he watched me closely, his hands folded behind his back.

• 6 hours later.

• i came to know Breaker x Breaker as Jhon mascove and it turns out that his survivor camp was all on the upper half of the mall, and the three lower floors of the mall were off-limits due to walker activities. "If you listen closely, you can hear the runners and walkers fighting down below," Jhon was saying as he looked over at me walkers and runners don't exactly get along while one side was strong and the other weak the survive by taking out the weak

• in the camp, they had a medical tent and food and water tent, guards surrounded the perimeter of the mall, and the survivors walked to and from busying themselves in an attempt to try and forget the chaos going on outside. Jhon led me and Rocky over to a secluded and empty cot for me to sleep in, and I set my stuff down with a yawn. "I'll let you settle in Chloe," Jhon said as he turned to leave he pets Rocky's head before walking off.

•  Chloe sat her stuff down under her cot and plopped down on top with a sigh. Rocky jumped up beside her and lay down as I looked down. As I rolled up my sleeve to look at my bite, "Why haven't I changed yet?" I whisper. I sighed and pulled down my sleeve before curling up beside Rocky to get some sleep for the night that night. I had a weird dream I dreamed of. I was surrounded by walkers, but as they walked past me, they didn't attack.

•  it was as if I was invisible to them even though they were looking right at me, not even the runners, Witches, boomers, and tanks attacked me... and then I ed something my dad said to me when I was little. "Listen, well, chloe cause this drug could very much change the world. Something dangerous is going to happen, and you need to be ready for it. ok, baby girl, " he said. I would nod as he injected me with the prototype drug.

•  I was still asleep when I was suddenly shaken awake, causing me to gasp as I grabbed my weapon and swung it on my attacker, but when I saw it was a child, I stopped half way while panting "you scared the shit outta me kid" I say. The girl shrugged nonchalantly at my statement as she rubbed rockys head, who yawned, "You talk in your sleep, you know?" She said as she watched me, "really?" I asked as I stood and dusted myself off.
