I honestly don’t know what to say, so I’ll just drop this off here. *pats*

This is the first piece for my “For Him” series! I hope you all enjoy :)

My Darling,

Rest your head

In the nape of my neck.

to feel comfortable leaving

A few kisses just for me.

Slip your body close to mine,

Placing your hand

On my waist,

And intertwine our free set of fingers

Together.

Tease my hand

With your thumb,

Brushing it ever so gently on the smooth skin.

While your breath tickles my ear,

I’ll hear you whisper:

“I love you.”

We’ll make our own music,

Something slow and rich,

That sinks it’s claws deep within our hearts,

Pulling out only our love.

As we sway in the moonlight to our song,

I’ll look to you,

Falling deeper in love with those dark irises

— with the aching soul buried far below,

And I’ll ask you:

“My Darling,

Will you promise me

That your lips will still love mine

Even after they’ve grown thin with age?

When my memories start leaving with the wind,

Will you remind me of the love and memories we have?

And when the spidery veins show on the backs of my old, wrinkled hands,

Will you still hold them the same way as now?”

Under the endless canvas

Of glittering jewels,

You sealed your promise with a kiss,

Bringing the butterflies to life.

I’ll that moment

Until the end of my days.

Oh, how hard we held on tight

In fear that we would lose each other

Along the road of life.

Forced apart because of the distance,

Our song plays on within the confines of my chest.

Sitting on the windowsill in the darkest hours of night,

I’ll tell the stars and moon

Over and over,

Just how much

I love you too.
