Hey there Books and Writing Community! We’ve had a big influx of new s and we’d like to know what you think of our community!
Want to know how to get featured/what is featurable? Look over my Content Ideas blog for further reference
One more thing, do not ask to be featured or ask why your content is not featured on this blog. This is about the community, how it’s presented, how it’s run, what you like/dislike, and comments like that.
Here are some questions we have for you:
1. What do you think of the featured feed?
2. What changes would you like to see?
3. What kind of bookish and writing posts would you like to see more or less of?
--Keep in mind we can't change it to fit every single person's desires, we just try to keep a nice balance.--
Getting nasty and sending us rude messages only puts us in uncomfortable situations, we're humans, we can only do so much.

Can you please feature more stories instead of poems. I'm not really a lot seeing of those.

People need to post feature worthy stories. Then we can feature them.

I'm still fairly new but I do like seeing the challenges each week I'm slowly trying to do the challenge now that I've started to figure them out. I like seeing people's reviews of books as well it's nice to check out how people feel about books I've wanted to read or have already read
I'd like to see more challenges where there is a winner and deadline to make something challenging.
Also more youg adult post would be appreciated.

As for this, we can only feature what the community gives us. Since our primary source is the latest feed. If s don’t post about YA, we can’t feature it. We’ll do what we can.

I believe you have improved a lot in the last few weeks. I am not a regular of Books and Writing amino. But in the last few weeks the featured content made me curious and let me come back and check the posts. It's a good balance between reviews, opinions and writing (I'm more interested in the book related topics than the self-written prose of the community) . Some things do interest me more than others. But all in all, what do you expect to do differently? You all, can just go through the latest feed and pick the most creative and best things this community has to offer. You can't make new post exist. You can only try to balance it and not feature the same people again and again. And from what I have seen you are doing your best with this in the last several months.
We ask this to see if it’s balanced enough for the community. It’s true, we can only feature what the community provides, I cannot express how relieved I am that someone understands that. These posts are just to make sure we’re keeping it as balanced as we can with what is being given to us.

I'm happy for the most part but to me it seems like the same thing gets featured all time. For example, someone posted a review about a certain book and it gets featured and then the next week someone else writes about the same book and it gets featured too. One day it was like Sarah J Maas (who I love) week. I guess I'm saying certain books (I guess popular or newest releases at time) get featured too much. It like booktubers were they're all posting the same stuff about the same books. I'd to see a little more variety is all or see an outlier. Other than that you guys are awesome!
We will work on avoiding duplicates! As we should be a a little more careful I just wanted to note that along with that we can only feature what the community makes. Certain books do her blogged about more.
