Dear Blue,

I first met you when we were... five? It's hard to it seems like ages ago. It kinda is, I mean it was over a decade ago. Ugh, a decade. I feel old. You were drawing in a corner of our friend's basement. You always have been an artist.

I have so many memories of you. I that time I broke your nose (accidentally) on the swings (I still feel guilty about that). I the many many dishes of pasta I've eaten at your house. I every single birthday party you've had. I even the pennies ;).

And even through all of the times where I was annoying and probably embarrassing, you stuck with me. I don't know when we became best friends, but we are. And no matter what happens, no matter how far apart we are, that will always be true.

This year has probably been the worst year of our lives. But you still ed me. When I called you crying because I needed someone to talk to, you were there.

You are literally everything to me, and if I didn't know you, I don't know who I'd be. I hope you have a great day. Happy Birthday Blue!
