When you fuse opposing elements, you get dark

Some things are not allowed to be put together. It’s like an unfavorable reaction, and forcing it will only result in catastrophic consequences, such as the breed of an element that should not exist in this world.

Dark is a transcendent element, a higher form that battles light in all fronts. While light was supposed to reign supreme, dark was always overshadowed, and now it became more prominent and aggressive, trying to battle its way to the top.

When we are born, the first thing you see is light, and when we leave this world, the last thing we see is dark. As we grow up, we get familiarized with the dark. We start sharing our routines and we’ll eventually live with it.

The dark starts filling us up, taking the space that is not theirs. It will gorge on our suffering, and it will grow to teach us awful, inhuman things. Things like hate, anger, sorrow, grief. Things no human should ever face on a daily basis.

As scary as dark may be, befriending it will actually teach you forbidden knowledge. It’s hard truths you will have to swallow, and only those with resolve to not be consumed by the curses it casts will be able to use that wisdom well.

It’s a high price to pay, to give yourself to the dark in hopes of knowing more from the world. It’s a painful path, a torturous ride even. Some will be always stuck in the middle of the typhoon, rare are those who actually break the wall to cross to light again.

It’s up to you if you choose to remain in the dark. Dark only exists because the light allows it to. You can feel hopeless and blind in the middle of the night, but you can never say there’s no hope for you, because there is. Light is immortal. Light will always be there.
