The feeling of your skin touching mine was always warm

The smell of your dark brown hair had always reminded me of autumn days and how it was so noticeable the moment you walked through doors

I the sound of your voice, balanced and clean

Like the flavor of aroma range from chocolate and nut to fruity and floral

The words that you said, they hurt me

But I ignored them and stayed loyal to you when the way you treated me was awful

We were never together, I’m aware

So why did you have to act like you cared?
