I recently reread my blog about the villain I have proudly created and that made me think about other characters I’m proud of. So, for this one I’ll write about more characters I have proudly created.

Your first is always special, right?
I don’t exactly how it went down, but while reading Lord of the Rings I became inspired to create my own world and write my own books. A plot formed and immediately characters came rushing at me, ready to be acknowledged, ready to be written. Sif was the first. There’s just something alluring about a witty badass. Sif is a legendary assassin, known and renowned for his skills and incredible feats, a title well earned. While he likes to crack jokes and make sarcastic remarks, he can be a real killing machine, sometimes even when joking around. Since he is a snow-elf his skin is white and his hair is silver. His eyes are crimson and he always has a devilish grin on his face. It does hurt sometimes to put him through hell, though.
Honestly I could just put my whole cast of main characters on here, but Sif is special enough to warrant his own place.

Pyotr is what happens when you need a secondary antagonist to threaten the primary main character. Pyotr has a history with Sif, apprentices of the same master and rivals, Pyotr had been left for dead by Sif, ever since he had sworn revenge upon him. Well what happens when a person has such drive? Such unstable force that they will keep going until they can’t go on any longer? Pyotr has done his best to get on Sif’s level, and he’s not short of his own feats. His fighting is even more versatile than Sif’s. Where Sif is pale as snow, Pyotr is black as coal. They share the same crimson eyes, but Pyotr’s just seem a bit more threatening with the horns sticking out of his forehead.

Well for such great main characters you need great antagonists, and because my story demands several villains, I couldn’t just leave it to Pyotr. What happens when badass characters get bested? Now, that’s simply terrifying. Arlen is the living embodiment of “don’t underestimate me” being a dwarf, his size might fool you. His silence is a cover for him to get close and his precision is unrivalled. Arlen was a response to a very one dimensional character like Pyotr. Arlen is a lot more complex and more human even. I’ve always found moral ambiguity very fascinating and I’ve tried my hand at it with Arlen. Antagonists who are just like the protagonists, or who have gone through the same, are always extra horrifying. It shows that the choices we make can drastically change our future and it’s scary how such similar people can be on vastly different sides of the moral spectrum. Visually he’s similar to Sif. Pale as snow but with black eyes.

Two sides of the same coin
So stepping away from my books for a bit I want to focus on two other main characters. Riven and Silas are the driving forces of a rebellion against the king, but they’re on opposite sides, yet you view the story from both of their perspectives. Riven is the King’s left Hand, the hand that does the dirty work, the royal assassin. Silas is the leader of the rebellion, the leader figure at least, he has his team to plan everything with. Both men are very similar. They’re fiercely loyal, fight for their ideals, kind friends, and great fighters. Where Silas likes to be the centre of attention, Riven sticks to the shadows. Where Riven is calm and collected, Silas is charismatic and cheerful. Riven’s hair is black and his eyes are hazel, where Silas’ hair is silver and his eyes yellow.
Guess I have a type huh?

Who doesn’t like a loving, loyal sister?
To shift my focus away from my books and from my main characters I wanted to focus on one of my best side characters. Freya is Sym’s sister, the main character in A King’s Peril. Their parents died in a dragon attack long ago, and Freya has never given up taking care of her little brother. She works hard so that Sym can have a roof above his head and a bed to sleep in at night. She’s very overprotective, to the point that she doesn’t want Sym to become a dragonhunter. Can you blame her? Sym might’ve been too young to even his parents, but Freya does, she even re that night. But when Sym is determined to be a dragonhunter, she lets him go, she’s worried, of course, but she still s him. The spark in his eyes is something she had missed for a long time. She’s present throughout the story to show of any kind. She’s kind above all, radiating from her auburn hair and hazel eyes. At least a head taller than her brother.

Honestly I had imagined that I would have a lot more characters to talk about, but it feels wrong to focus on so many, since that almost nullifies he pride I feel for creating all of them. These are just a few and perhaps I’ll write about the others another time.
Happy reading and writing everyone!

Dang I wish Freya was my sister :sob: . You better be good to her Val and don't do anything like kill her off or something man or I'll be devastated
When The Spirits of These Villans Takes over you could Unleash your Supernatural Powers From your DNA and Return them back Inside.
I love these characters! I can tell how much thought and detail has gone into them and I think they are fantastic! I also think the names are great, very fitting for a high fantasy novel
Love how unique their names are.
