Breaking out-[IMG=14V]
[C]How many corners does a room have?
[C]Four in the one I'm trapped
[C]And in each of those dark corn

How many corners does a room have?

Four in the one I'm trapped

And in each of those dark corners,

Is a soul waiting to emerge

From the Pacific that's ,drowning her

And drowning him.

In the mornings,

When she sits in that corner,

Pretending to be unfazed,

In her head she's chanting how she's; only different

Like a prayer

Like a prayer that would convince no one.

At night,

By the time her head hits her soft pillow ,

Face -first and she's drenching it with her tears

She is telling herself how she's only different.

This time ,it's not a prayer, not anymore.

Because now she a knows a curse when she sees one.

A thousand needlepoints

Are breaking into her skin

As she hears the metal clang inside her

In the rythm once the lub-dupp had been

There's no telling anyone,

she can only hide

Because everyone knows how to remain silent

While she's screaming inside

[C]How many corners does a room have?
[C]Four in the one I'm trapped
[C]And in each of those dark corn

In the mornings,

He owns a corner of the room,

He knows when to look

And when to look away.

All he wants is the silence,he would tell himself.

But his heart yearns for the recognition,he would never get.

His stoic stance denies his storming emotions

But no one looks at the corner.

No one looks.

At night,

He's breaking his pencil into smaller pieces

And throwing them against the windows

As the pieces hit the glass and scatter helplessly on the ground.

He walks to the abused pieces of wood and graphite and picks them up with care.

He apologizes to the only objects that listened.

Walls close in on him

Everywhere he looks, there are walls .

His very own heart is beating out of one.

It shouldn't be too long before his kingdom falls

They were two hearts

cracking Metal and blood

They were two lillies

blooming in the mud

[C]How many corners does a room have?
[C]Four in the one I'm trapped
[C]And in each of those dark corn

And one sudden day,When a little broken pencil

Rolled towards her feet,

She picked it up nd turned towards its owner

Who had the brown-est eyes she would ever meet.

When he opened his mouth ,

It was to ask fo her name.

And for the rest of their lives ,

The corners had never been the same.
