Chris clashed his blade against the crystalline armor as the shining general let the boy strike as his armor was indestructible and in his years as his a shining general his armor has never been pierced his defense is impenetrable. “Fool give up now and I’ll make you and hour comrade’s deaths quick” he stated throwing a punch that Chris was able to block with his indestructible cross shield but was launched back from the force crashing into a tree.

“Chris don’t be crazy this guy is the equivalent to a clover captain” Skade said worried as she flew by his side she was using her magic to enhance and automize Chris’s spells which just saved him from that punch but her partner just smiled.

“I can do this” he stated his eyes burning with determination. “Before I left my brother beat a shining general, I’m gonna rip off this guy’s badge and throw it in the face of that jerk to show him he ain’t shit” North stated clenching his fist infront of him “now stop worrying about me and let’s kick this guy’s butt”. North charged forward his feet generating ice to increase speed. Launching his spears of absolute zero to force him to block and partially blind him, using the opportunity Chris flanked and used his word to jab at the chink in the general’s armor and it worked, he drew blood from the underside of the general’s blood ‘perfect I jut need to keep hitting spots like this while blinding him then I can win’ he thought before he suddenly felt a jab in his side a crystal spike piercing though him Skade had made another shield so it stopped it from expanding the wound but Chris was hit and was starting to bleed. “Shit” he’d mutter before getting clocked in the face and launched into a tree. Chris slumped against the tree his head bleeding as well ‘crap I lost focus and didn’t read his ki’ he thought before loosing consciousness.

Chris suddenly saw many people infront of him all of them a part of his life both positive and negative.

Chris could feel the despair creeping onto him they were right he was a nuisance, weak, in the way of everyone but he then noticed a hand reaching for him.

”North Wake up” Skade yelled as the dimond general tried to punch his way through the indestructible ice shield she had put up and it started cracking.

“Huh, Skade? Sorry I was out for a min there” Chris said wiping the blood from his face.

“Don’t move you’re really hurt” She said as North got up light smile on his face.

“Thanks Skade but we can do this… together” he stated holding his side which was still bleeding pretty bad he made an ice plug to keep the remaining stuff inside “haa, that should keep me alive until we get home” he said slightly light headed before swiping his hand creating a giant ice fist that had the general flying through the air giving the ice boy some room. “I don’t know about you but I’m feeling pretty good, Skade let’s see what we can do together” he said hopping on a foot before charging in, the Dimond general sent the crystal spikes at Chris again but when he got impaled he poofed into a flurry of snowflakes.

“Ice Spirit magic: Snowfall”

Chris’s voice rang out as silhouettes of snow formed around the general who swung at the nearest one before noticing a surge of magic power something he’s never seen before.

“Noo, I’ll stop it you’ll never beat me you clover scum” he roared his own magic swelling

”it’s too late old man this is pure spirit magic” North said “I’ve never thought I’d be able to create a spell this strong, well here it goes jackass my best spell” Chris said as Skade flew above his head his form flickering a crown and wings could partially be seen before the spell launched.

”Ice Spirit magic: Skade’s holy arrow”

The ice arrow launched forward ripping through the air and pierced through the armor like it wasn’t even there exploding the crystals leaving the general dead on the ground his badge rolling towards the magic knight who defeated him. Chris nearly collapsed but instead fell on a knee “wow that…. that was awesome” he gasped as he felt a presence running towards him a Dimond soldier trying to finish the job he moved to kick Chris in the face but the brown haired male rolled out of the way but before he could fight back the solder was grabbed by a multitude of hands coming from his shadow before pulling him in the man now disappeared. “Oh damn” Chris said chuckling “you finished Noir?” North asked as the shadow mage appeared from the ground shadows clinging on to his person he looked tired but otherwise ok.

“Ya… that was pretty impressive Chris, you’ve only had Skade for a month and you’re already close enough to her to use spirit magic to that degree” He said amazed Chris cocked his head

“What do you mean can’t you do the same with your devil?” The brown haired mage asked looking up at the shadow mage who looked off.

“No, nor do I plan to” he stated before opening his portal “come on we need to go before more show up, Pyre should be atleast safe” Noir said smiling to brush off the previous conversation.

“Ya let’s-“ suddenly North fell on his face from blood loss and mana exhaustion.
