At Justice's Behest

You should know by now

that some monsters are born—

not created, like us,

but was born from the abyss,

Unsettling, their gaze

that pierces through one's heart,

their cruel, wicked ways

spell nothing but disaster,

What brought such creature,

and what is their intent?

Who had brought this darkness

that belittled fate's design?

Enemy of gods?

Maybe the gods themselves?

An ambitious mortal?

Or simply the silent void?

Whoever the cause,

this being is here now,

cruelty is his game

and we're the coerced players,

Cruel, mocking void

who could spare not a soul,

he is bound to be weak

against one with iron will,

Yes, an iron will,

one with taste for justice

and is not afraid to

raise arms against one such foe,

We need a hero

that shows no fear towards

this infernal monster

who could freeze Hell with a snap,

We need a warrior

whose heart screams out vengeance

like that of a man

that had honed his discipline,

And we need someone

who is liked by Rama,

had gained Odin's favour,

and chosen by Ra himself,

Sadly, this guardian

would be doomed to wander

despite the triad's gift

that was given unto him,

The lone wanderer

would be his new title,

and yet, his spirit glows

brightly like the High Heavens,

But would he succeed?

Would he come to conquer

the evil at his prime,

while he's at his lowest point?

He might,

for justice will prevail,

or so he says to himself.
