It is not a surprise that I simply love to hear music when I'm writing. I listen to a variety of stuff, depending on what I am writing. Usually I go for instrumental over voice, so expect to find some music going from epic to creepy to heavenly to hellish.

"Villain"

This song is just full of spices. It channels in me those dark energies. The powerful beat is extremely assertive and creates a vision of such a badass character. Not to mention the beautiful visuals put together in the video clip. It's all animated, and you simply lose yourself in their voices like you've been charmed.

Yep, I'm adding a vocaloid here. Say whatever you want, I really enjoy this song. The music is so creepy and mysterious, and the vocaloid adds to that terror feeling, because it is so weird. I understand that this is not for all tastes, but I'm not here to make friends 👁

Sheeeesh, this song...

The original song belongs to Ryan Dan, but I solely prefer Amy Guess's cover. It's a very, very sad song. It reminds me a lot of my grandmother, who unfortunately is not with me anymore. The song is absolutely gorgeous, stunning. Very heavenly, perfect to write sad and hard to swallow truths of life.

The song is just great. If you think otherwise, there are people out there that can help you figure out what is wrong with you, take my humble and only right opinion 👁 I usually play this song when I'm trying to build hype in a writing piece, and I'm trying to go for a powerful finale.

Second Disney song I'll include. I use this for pieces whose message falls on hope and not losing it during hard times. The choir and her voice are just divine, perfect for that godly inspiration.

If you don't know MARINA, do yourself a favor and go listen to her music. My favorite music artist of all time, and it pains me how underrated she is. I could include all of her songs here, but I wanted to keep this short 👁 This song plays in my playlist when I want to speak about society. It makes me think so much about it and how the human being thinks and acts in the world.

Anoda one 👁

This song also includes a vocaloid, tho I linked the instrumental version. I hear the off vocal version more because the song tells a story, and I live for storytelling songs. With the instrumental version, I can paint millions of stories and sometimes I get to write the ones I like the most. One of the most inspiring songs I have in my list.

Such an epic song, such a sheety game 👁 This song defines epic to me, so you can guess the kind of work I intend to write when listening to this. And the guitar solo... Masterpiece.

"Canção do Mar"

At last, a Portuguese song. And an old one. Why am I recommending a song that no one understands? Because this song doesn't need words to translate the deep and strong emotions. Her voice is out of this world. The style of music may be odd to those who never heard it, but it portrays beautifully the feelings of anguish and distress. I've always seen the sea as a godly inspiration, so having a song about it in my list is a must.
