A Poem From The Dreamer

For the person who is named from graceful arching branches,

And who’s personality can win in every aspect against anyone I have ever known.

For the person who can make me laugh just by a sentence alone.

For the person who makes me smile just by one look independently.

I gave this too you because this is the only way I can express my emotions without outwardly saying it.

I’m not good with talking, I apologize when I might appear really quiet.

I’m sorry for never speaking my mind with you.

So I gave this to you so you can forgive me for the countless hours I can never express to you.

Your so beautiful I could never comprehend,

I look at you and it seems that I fall in love all over again.

Your smile shines, your angelic and intoxicating eyes that I could get myself lost in,

And I don’t even like making eye .

Your light freckles that beautifully dust over your cheeks and nose.

But importantly your personality is the reason I fell for you like the way I did.

I love your attitude to laugh at really bad comedy.

Or how you sometimes randomly start singing songs.

How you become embarrassed when you do something slightly bizarro.

How you act with my best friend can never seize to amuse me.

I don’t know how you act when you are home alone.

Or when you're by yourself in your room.

I don’t know how sad you can be.

Or if you cry at night when it’s three A.M.

Just like I often do.

I don’t know so much about you

And maybe that makes me not really know you.

So maybe you could say I like an idea of you.

But I don’t even believe that to be true.

I want to get to know all these things about you,

How you act at home.

If you’re happy or sad in the night.

I want to call you every night to make sure.

This for you so you can know that I want to be with you through every rocky path that you journey down.

This poem is from me to you, a poem from the pessimistic dreamer who wishes for things that can never be.
