-Introduction-
Hello, my name is ChristianGuy (not the most creative name, I know), since this is a book amino, I would like to talk about my favorite book, the Bible. Please note that I'm not someone who will threaten you to believe what I believe, I will read and explain what is said in the Bible and you, the reader of this blog post, will see whether or not you can apply this to your life and whether or not you accept what's written to be true.
The Bible is a very long book with a bunch of content inside it, the book has multiple meanings and teachings about life, and most importantly, about God. This content can be applicable and enjoyable. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask! I'll be as kind and respectful as possible and will answer when I can. Let's be civil here, happy reading!
1. The Prequel to the Gospel: The Old Testament
So, as you most likely know, the Bible has both the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is when God created the Earth (Book Of Genesis) till God trying to reconcile with his people and foreshadowing Jesus Christ (Book Of Malachi). I'll briefly cover the Old Testament as it establishes why the Gospel exists and was made.
the Old Testament is essentially about God's plan to bring the redemption of Man, it all started when God created the Earth and made two human beings, Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve were the first human beings and God made them in the garden of Eden.

[C]Hello, my name is ChristianGuy (not the most creative name, I know](https://image.staticox.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpm1.aminoapps.vertvonline.info%2F8934%2F3ee1b77d891827868fc7c27a7e2b3091a9bc8965r1-879-593v2_hq.jpg)
God tells Adam and Eve not to eat the tree of knowledge. Adam and Eve had a choice to obey or disobey, but God warned them of the consequences of eating from the tree, the consequence being Death. The serpent, most likely Satan, taking the form of one, tempted Eve to eat the Fruit, he deceived her into believing that eating the fruit was actually good for her.
Eve believed this and ate some of the fruit, she also gives the fruit to Adam, who eats it as well. This disobedience caused Sin to enter the world, and Adam and Eve now had no access to the Garden of Eden and would age till death, and the serpent was cursed to crawl on the dust. However God made a promise, a covenant against the serpent.
What was this promise? That, the offspring of Adam and Eve will crush and bruise Satan and Satan would strike his heel. Many, many years later, God would flood the earth, and repopulate the Earth again, and make a nation out of a single man named Abraham, the nation of Israel.
The Nation of Israel was meant to be God's Nation that would ultimately be used as a kingdom priest that would lead people from around the world to God, God gave Isreal a bunch of commandments and statutues to follow, so that other nations would recognize Israel as a nation that stands out from the rest of the world, due to God and would accept God into their hearts.
But...Israel was not perfect. Since Adam and Eve caused sin to spread around the world, this affected the entirety of humanity (Adam and Eve's descendants), and Israel had moments of rebellion and reconciliation to God, this was an ongoing cycle that would go on for years, God would sent notable leaders, like King David, Isaiah, Moses to lead the people to God, but Israel still sinned and fall short of God.

[C]Hello, my name is ChristianGuy (not the most creative name, I know](https://image.staticox.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpm1.aminoapps.vertvonline.info%2F8934%2Fc787257eef5f18fd1d2ca50f462b0a7e13a09f8br1-1070-564v2_hq.jpg)
So God, knowing this in advance, prophesied through many people that a messiah would come, the Messiah will:
- Destroy Satan
- Redeem Israel and the rest of the world from Sins.
- Will establish a new covenant, which does not require following the old laws that God gave to his people.
2. The Gospel
Romans 3:23: "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
Due to we Humans falling short due to various sins, different types of sins, the world needed a savior, a Messiah that would cleanse the world and reconcile us back to God, that Messiah was Jesus.
Phillippians 2:6-11: "who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross."
The word "Gospel" means "Good News", the Good News is that God the Father, sent God Son to save the world. the Son was a sin offering forever, he died on the cross. In the Old Testament, animals were required to be sacrificed in order to sins to be forgiven. In the New Testament, Jesus is the animal sacrifice, and with him, he reconciles us back to God, redeems us from our Sins, and overwrites the old covenant and laws. And through death, he destroyed the one who has the power of death, that is, the Devil.
3. The New Covenant
After Jesus died on the cross, the new covenant was established. The New Covenant is that if you believe Jesus died on the cross, and you confess your sins, you will receive salvation as a free gift, and God will cleanse your sins, and reconcile himself with you.
Romans 10:9: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Once this happens, you will be born again, through faith in Jesus Christ, and will be in a relationship with God.
-Conclusion-
This is my first post on this amino. Once again, I want to clarify that my aim is not to shove my belief down your throat, I'm not forcing you to believe. I'm sharing what the Gospel is, and in turn, you can ponder and see whether or not you believe this and want to apply this in your life.
Regardless, thank you for reading, I hope you have a good day!
Peace :v:
