Hey all,
Welcome to my first post. I want to share what I'm currently reading, the format in which im reqding it and what I think so far and any struggles.
All the books below are easy reads for a buzzing mind, which helps quiet the buzz in my head.
*I'm not rating the books, just sharing my reads with a little ramble
Also, I have excluded two audiobooks as they are 18+ < good listening for my travelling work days*
FIRST BOOK

Paperback
Has been a few months already.
This is a part of the Scythe Arc trilogy
I've been reading this one for a while, which I'm finding difficult getting through it. The first book was good, and I found it was engaging. I was more involved in it.
The second book, however, is very slow, I'm finding it difficult to engage with this one. For me, it feels like a very slow burn to continue the plot. There is a lot going on, and I do like the plot. It just feels very slow pace, and I struggle to keep my attention on it.
There is a third book, and I rarely give up on a series, but it may take me a while to actually get through it.
SECOND BOOK ON THE GO!

Paperback
Only read a few chapters.
This is the third book in the children of the red king series
This book is a flashback. I loved this series when I was a younger, and now I use them as a light and easy pallet cleanser (like a series of unfortunate events).
They are an easy read, very enjoyable, and there is little thinking involved.
Definitely recommend for young readers.
THIRD BOOK IM READING

Kindle [E-book]
no timescale really
It's an interesting book. A little victorian mystery, something I love reading often, though this is a more light-hearted one. Only a few chapters in, not sure how it's going, but so far, there has been a kidnapping and an execution.
So I'm enjoying it.
Will decide a little later of any good, but period based mystery are a love of mine.
FOURTH READ - HAVE NOW FINISHED!
![Current Reads - update one-[C] Hey all,

Paperback
Another week or two before I finish hopefully.
This is the second book in a zombie apocolypse, LBGTQ+, with a little supernatural thrown in. It's enjoyable and, again, another easy read that's good for a break between the heavier reads.
I am enjoying this book, though fair warning :warning: spicy content :warning:
(I think I'm allowed to say that as I haven't stated anything, and it is mostly based around a romance surviving a violent zombie apocalypse)
******
I'm not recommending these books, I'm just sharing what I'm reading at the moment.
My mental health dips a lot, and easy reads help me continue a hobby I love and don't take too much brain power.
Perhaps next, I might share some of my favourite reads.
