Backstory:

Malcom was born in the icy outskirts of Murmansk, Russia, the son of two high-level black-market villains known as Voda and Surgefist. Though never publicly identified, his parents operated under aliases, ruling a brutal underground region with violence, power, and paranoia. Their Quirks—manipulation of water pressure and seismic energy—gave them dominance over rival factions… until they crossed the wrong line.

When Malcom was only four, a rival villain backed by All For One arrived to claim their territory. Within a single week, both of Malcom’s parents were wiped out in a surgical ambush, their regime collapsed, and their secrets buried under snow and silence.

Malcom survived only because of a loyal operative who smuggled him out and left him at the doorstep of Russia’s top Pro Hero: Mitsuka. Known for her ability to absorb and nullify matter on , Mitsuka had once faced Voda and Surgefist in battle—and recognized Malcom immediately.
