Backstory: Izumo would born on the 24th of July to Reina Yamanaka and Hinata Yamanaka in Hokutan, West Rukongai. As stated by his mother, Izumo was “a baby with delight that could not be contained.” He was always smiling about something and rarely cried in his first few years of life. Whenever he needed something though, he’d either wriggle around awkwardly or begin to make random noises, but crying was a rarity for him. As he grew to the age of thirty (the equivalent of a three-year-old human) , it would become evident that he possessed an enormous amount of spiritual power for the most part unheard of for any individual at the age. At the age of seventy, Izumo would begin to use his spiritual power constantly. The skill he possessed made it clear that he was a child prodigy. He would constantly play around with his spiritual power, sending spiritual energy out in the hills into the air. The surges of spiritual pressure would often destroy buildings and such. Of course, this was not Izumo’s intention, as he was a good child who attempted to respect every individual as best as he could. He would constantly get scolded often for his unintentional actions, others constantly explaining to him that he should leave Hokutan and go off on his own instead of being a threat. However, his parents would defend him for his actions every time. At the age of eighty, he would decide to enter the Shin’ō Academy, wanting to become a Soul Reaper like those he had heard fight and leave to create peace, restor order, and maintain balance. He was able to graduate from the academy in only a single year. From there, he was placed in the first division as lieutenant under the command of Head Captain Rebel. At this time and the 40 years to follow, Izumo would repeatedly be offered the position of Captain for several squads. However, he would deny them or decide not to request for them. Finally, after a change in positions of the Head Captain and several other captains of squads, Izumo would accept the ranking the Captain of the 11th Division, a position he would hold for 49 years. After reg and taking time off for 10 years for a variety of reasons, Izumo would return to the Gotei 13 as the Captain of the 4th Division.

Piasu Dendō Burēdo - Piercing Electric Blade: Izumo extends his right arms and flat hand in the air with his finger closed. His spiritual pressure jumps and his arm begins to spark with blue lighting that gradually runs further toward his wrist. Suddenly, the small sparks would stop and blue spiritual energy discharges from his wrist, surrounding and extending past his hand in the form of a wide blade coming to a point with both sides, for the most part, symmetrical.

Tamashī Tankyū-Sha - Soul Searcher:   Izumo stands still and closes his eyes calmly, his spiritual pressure gradually rising and rippling out of him. Izumo uses the rippling effect of the spiritual pressure in the same manner as sound is used in echolocation.

Shin no Kasoku - True Acceleration: Suddenly, a shockwave of air produces and a blue light gradually begins to produce and outline Izumo’s body. Izumo opens his eyes and takes a step forward. However, it appears as if Izumo’s leg had teleported rather than moved a bit. Using this skill, Izumo is able to move at speeds suring that of the peak speed of a Flash Step. Additionally, this speed applies to all of Izumo’s movements rather than just his steps. Therefore, when using this skill, all of Izumo’s movements and strikes are too fast for someone to see completely and process. Blue ribbons of light follow each of his movements while using this skill.

Swordsmanship - Izumo is a master at Zanjustu and the application of it in battle, able to perform high level techniques and send out devestating and complex attacks with his Zanpakuto.

Zanpakuto: Kurisutaru Shinjitsu - Crystal Truth

Sealed - When sealed, Izumo’s Zanpakuto is standard. The guard of the Zanpakuto is quadrilateral diamond with the longest section with points aligned in a perpendicular fashion.

Shikai

A shockwave of spiritual energy releases as Izumo reveals his Shikai. A quick and bright flash appears and vanishes and the new form of the Zanpakuto reveals itself in the process. The blade of the sword shows to be a bluish white color with a faint glow. The guard of the Zanpakuto shows blue with a golden outline. The cord wrap shows blue with a pattern of silver diagonal lines running down. The ray shin underneath is shown as white. The blade collar would gleam in gold with a silver trim, a pattern of two white quadrilateral diamonds with a gold outline emerging from it. The pummel of the sword is shown to be encased in gold and trimmed with silver with a galaxy blue ribbon attached. Attached to the galaxy blue ribbon, their is a crystal ring along with a glowing bluish white flower and charms at the end. The scabbard shows to be galaxy blue, patterned with an array of white flowers and petals. The hanging cord on the scabbard shows present in galaxy blue with small bluish quadrilateral diamond charms attached and glowing. A set of charms with the same design on a larger scale appears in the air around Izumo, glowing brightly. The charms have the ability to send out Kidō attacks on a smaller scale, whether it be simultaneously or at random. The charms can also be sent out and maneuvered at extreme speeds. On top of this, the crystals can break into crystal dust and carry out the same actions. Each crystal shows to be about 10-12 inches tall with the amount of them totaling to around 1,000. Along with this, the Zanpakuto is able to send out beams and waves of spiritual energy that can be ed be each crystal. The waves of spiritual energy appear with a look of diamond dust. Izumo’s shikai increases his speed and strength by a factor of 15.

Base Bankai

A bright white light fills the area as Izumo releases his Bankai. Izumo’s spiritual pressure surges with immense intensity and fills the area with a tremendous and booming thundering effect. A circle of white light appears in front of Izumo’s feet as shimmers of light swirl around him in a vortex. Light blue flowers and white butterflies begin to appear around the circle. Kanzen’na Kurisutaru Shinjitsu emerges from the ground in front of Izumo. Izumo’s uniform gets be replaced by an crystalline armor reinforced by Izumo’s spiritual pressure. This armor is 200,000x tougher than diamond. The blade of is of the same strength with the ability to cut through and/or crack material of lesser strength. For a split second, Izumo’s body appears to be transparent. The transparency of his body eventually seizes. Pillars of spiritual pressure and light emerge from the ground around Izumo. Izumo and Kanzen’na Kurisutaru Shinjitsu both begin to ascend. Kanzen’na Kurisutaru Shinjitsu begins to rotate vertically as Izumo’s irises begin to glow, showing a Alice Blue with a mix here and there of Paled Turquoise and Periwinkle. Eventually, Izumo and Kanzen’na Kurisutaru Shinjitsu stop ascending. Kanzen’na Kurisutaru Shinjitsu’s rotation begins to slow down as the zanpakuto draws closer to Izumo. Izumo extends his right arm and grabs the hilt of Kanzen’na Kurisutaru Shinjitsu. In a millisecond, Izumo descends to the ground, creating a crater in the ground with a radius of 100 feet that produces a shockwave of energy with a radius of 20 miles. The blade of increases it’s output of light, glowing much brighter than it had been before. Suddenly, trillions of crystal shards in the area Izumo. The shards appear to be the same as Kanzen’na Kurisutaru Shinjitsu in color. As Izumo uses, ribbons of light follow the movements of the blade. A single bluish white crystal would be on Izumo’s forehead. Bankai allows him, in this form, to send out Kido attacks through the crystal, send out waves of spiritual energy with both his Zanpakuto and crystals, transform the crystal into dust or mold it together, maneuver the crystal at extreme speed and impeccably accuracy. However, what makes Izumo’s Bankai most effective is that rather than controlling the crystal by a physical action, he controls the crystal with his thoughts and will. This would mean that if he wanted the crystal to defend him, rather than doing a physical action to manipulate the crystal, the crystal would automatically speed in his direction and form into a shield in front of him.
