It pricks him internally to have to deal with some audience of... unimpressive level of intelligence. Nevertheless, it won't stop him from coming off arrogant sometimes because of the way he taunts, mocks, and insults others. What a bastard.

And he's not the type to scream or rage. He delivers his words in deadpan, devastating, and dry tones with the careless manner of a man who doesn't pay attention to how most of his words can affect others emotionally. Or maybe he is aware, he's just not into sugar-coating.

He grately respects the King of Spade and his right-hand man. They're good people, decent, tolerable individuals. But the rest of his allies and the outcasts—? maybe he should get a break, one of these days. Dealing with personalities that clashes against his own doesn't really enchances his patience.

With all that being stated, he’s not exactly trying to be liked, feared, or even respected, he’s just trying to get through this unhinged world of screaming wizards and fragile egos without dying from secondhand embarrassment.

Belonging to the ancient society of the Velkir Clan, Drayce developed enchanced physical features. The man is not fully human, he is half of what he's suppose to be... And that lineage has granted him enchanced strength, speed, and durability which is considerably higher in statistics compared to most humans. His senses are sensitive to negative mana, and he's got a keen sensor ability towards sensing emotions like anger, sadness, hostility and such.

Drayce's mana signatures remains unique and strange to some, his natural mana is mixed with something sinister and dark— one would mistake him for a devil host. Which is close enough but not entirely true. His mana can be easily recognized by devils too because of his bloodline. Nevertheless, because of being a Velkir, Drayce benefitted with two magical attributes when he was born.

TRAP MAGIC

Trap Magic is a strategic attribute that allows a wizard to set traps with diverse triggers and effects. It requires careful planning, foresight, and adaptability to use effectively. A skilled like Drayce excels in leveraging its flexibility, setting traps that range from simple to highly complex.

It can mislead enemies with illusions, detect specific conditions (such as excessive mana usage or verbal intent), and activate based on unique triggers like reflections or contradictory actions. Traps can also be visible or hidden, layered across various surfaces, and even designed to only trigger under precise conditions. They are categorized into low, medium, and high-level based on complexity and mana cost: low-level traps are quick and straightforward; medium-level traps involve multi-step activations or moderate counters; and high-level traps can absorb, reflect, or even read intent before triggering, with some rare versions of illusionary.

BLOOD MAGIC

Blood Magic is a dark and intimate magic that uses blood as both a medium and a trigger for ritualistic effects. This magic that Drayce uses is dependent on the spells of the Trap Magic to increase his trap ideas. Blood Magic can sometimes draw directly from the essence of life, using vitality to fuel its spells.

This magic can forge life-linked effects that only activate when blood is spilled, making its power reactive and personal. The caster can create sympathetic connections to others if they possess even a drop of their target’s blood, allowing them to remotely influence, trap, or curse from afar.

Blood can also be used to encode traps and glyphs that are invisible to all but those of specific bloodlines, offering secrecy and precision. Some blood spells possess adaptive qualities, learning from the nature of blood spilled nearby to evolve or mutate in response. More potent spells may require blood offerings, either taken or willingly given, to function, and the more lifeforce offered, the stronger the result.

Blood itself can be reshaped into physical constructs, sigils, or weapons, usually imbued with supernatural durability or curse-bearing properties. It also serves as a vessel for inscriptions, allowing Drayce to etch oaths or punishments into flesh that activate upon betrayal or disobedience.

Nevertheless this can be used for other methods. It's just the wizard, Drayce, utilizes its abilities with his other magic type more often.

HISTORY

Unlike most of his clansmen, Drayce Velkir was distant with his kin and barely ever visited back home. He belonged to the group of Velkirs who could blend in the societies of humans, his appearance had been too humane and he gained no physical features that would've suggested that he was a devil.

Nowdays, he could be spotted between the walls of Spade Kingdom.
