Hi guys! So today I have I little story. Not a very happy story, but a story. This actually happened just a few hours ago and I thought that should share it with you. Here we go..
Earlier tonight I was having dinner with my dad and brother. (My mom wasn't home tonight. ) I ed that I had some fortune cookies from when we went to an Asian restaurant a few days before, so I grabbed some from the drawer next to me. My brother did the same. He tore open the plastic around his cookie, broke the cookie open, pulled out his fortune, and read it in his head to himself. He laughed and looked up at me. He then said "Ha! Its good that you didn't get this one!" I looked at him smiling. What? Why? I ask. He read it out loud. "You and your wife will live happily together." Me: "... ha ha ha. That one is weird." I couldn't what he had said after that but it was soothing about how he wouldn't like it if a girl had gotten a fortune about marrying a girl.
Sadly, my brother threw the fortune away before I can take a picture of it. So I don't have it to show you.
I don't know if I should have said something else. But I do know that HE should have said something else! If I find the right girl, who I love, we're at a good point in our relationship, and she loves me too then I'm sure as heck gonna marry her
! I feel like the hardest part about all of this is that they assume that I'm straight because being bi is something they don't agree with.
Now I just wonder what they would have said if I had gotten that fortune.
