At my local bookshop they did a book swap and I went. Cool story I know but get this, there's more!
Okay so I walked into the shop and asked where it was happening, I was directed upstairs to a table with a lot of books on it (it stuck out like a sore thumb, I can't believe I didn't spot it myself) with a sign saying Book Swap Table (that was less noticeable). The books I took were A Game Of Thrones, The Bourne Identity, 3 Inspector George Gently books and a Kathy Reichs book. I swapped the 3 George Gently books for a book called A World Without You, and the Kathy Reichs book for The Shadow Of What Was Lost.
I mainly got TSOWWL because it had a pretty cover and that was partly why I got AWWY, but AWWY's blurb/synopsis gave me excitement for a beautiful story, of which I cannot wait to read.
I didn't swap AGOT or TBI for anything so they'll stay unread by me for the rest of eternity now.
AWWY:

When I got AWWY (pronounced Wowie without the 'W') out to take the photo I discovered that it smelt like Palmer Violets sweets.
TSOWWL

Oddly enough, TSOWWL (pronounced Toss Owl) doesn't have a blurb/synopsis so I had to look it up online. Not very interesting but hey, it's cover is super pretty.

Very good finds. A few coffee shops around me did something similar years ago. Maybe they still do. It would start out OK, but eventually it wound up being mostly out of use college textbooks.
Oooh! Noice!
