BIGBANG star G-Dragon has enlisted in the military as he begins his mandatory military service.
The 29-year-old, real name Kwon Ji-young, was confirmed to be ‘quietly enlisting’ today, and friends and fans have wished him well as he officially enlists.
G-Dragon entered the third infantry division recruit training centre in Cheorwon in the Gangwon Province on 27 February, with friends from his agency YG Entertainment seeing him off.
He is set to be discharged on 26 November, 2019.
Before he enlisted, G-Dragon spent time with his BIGBANG bandmates, with YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun-suk sharing pictures of him on Instagram.
