Mootang was a red betta that I got in the summer of 2017 from Petco. He was named after the Ford Mustang!
Mootang wasn’t supposed to be mine, he was supposed to be my brother’s. But I stole him because I knew my brother wouldn’t take care of him.
He liked to flare at me whenever I stopped to look at him. He was basically known for his grumpiness. At first, I didn’t like Mootang. Over time, I grew attached to his funny, moody personality! Everyone loved this fish. Even though red veiltails are common, I’ll never be able to find such a special boy like this again.

He had very long fins for a veiltail betta, some of the longest I’ve seen!
