Apparently I don’t have enough plants in my sorority tank when I looked up how to set up a sorority tank it just said add a lot of plants but didn’t give me an exact number and I did add a lot of plants but I was just recently informed that it has to be like a forest resulting in this female getting her tail getting nipped almost completely off so I took immediate action and put her in a betta cup she won’t be happy there but it’s better than not having a tail and so I’m getting some more plants as soon as I can and one of them is some duckweed because floating plants is the only live plants I can keep alive and then the rest of the plants I get will be silk because I can’t exactly keep real plants alive unless there floating plants the other females aren’t nipped so much that I need to take action right now though so the other 4 are still in the same tank but if i eventually need to before I get more plants I’d take action and I’m just wondering will her tail grow back? And if so will it grow back on its own? And also when I have enough plants could I put her back in or should I leave her in the cup to grow? Also how long would it take to grow back? Sorry for all the questions but I’m worried about her and trying to fix this because I didn’t get an exact number on how many plants to use causing problems but now that I know how many plants to use I can fix it.

It should grow back but it may look a little imperfect. Thank you for listening to my advice; I really do appreciate that. You seem to really care about your fish, which makes me happy.
I hope she has a smooth recovery. Will you be adding her back after adding more plants and getting her healthy or is she staying separate?

How many females?

Then yeah I'd suggest more coverage. It doesn't necessarily have to be plants. You can do more decor, rocks, driftwood, leaves, etc.

Yeah I’m planning on adding some duck weed in there the big long roots would make great hiding spots! But I want to add other live plants as well but I don’t know what plants can grow in rocks that’s the kind of substrate she has I know most plants can’t survive in rock substrate so I’ve been using silk plants

You should research it. I know there's many plants that can, I just can't give names atm. I just know based off of other people.
