MS Trip

I’m back and settled in from my trip to Mississippi! My 2 week trip turned into a 3 week trip :sweat_smile:

So how are the fish?

They’re all good! I expected a massacre, but I only came home to find some minor nipping. Mom made sure to feed them and watch them all very carefully. The tanks didn’t look all that attractive since algae grew a bit, but I can’t complain since it was 3 weeks without a water change. Mom was going to do small water changes on them, but she wasn’t able to because of her work keeping her so busy. I don’t mind though; the fishies are okay so all is good!

I cleaned them all up and they’re all very happy fishies! Daedric even surprised me with this big ol’ bubble nest yesterday morning!

Ace’s Tumor

If you aren’t aware yet, Ace has a tumor slowly growing on his left gill cover. It grew quickly at first, but it seems to be slowly growing now. It’s not affecting him much at all so far, he still makes sure to flare at me like he always does!

Growth

As you can see, it’s still fairly small right now. I’ll need to euthanize him when/if it bursts or gets big enough to where it’s uncomfortable for him. I’m hoping that time doesn’t come soon!
