a little back story on finnick-

i got him from petsmart and i fell instantly in love with him. he was so so feisty and gorgeous. i was looking for an all white betta but he was white with some extra pop of color that i loved. he was labeled a rose tail dragon scale. that’s when i noticed his scales grew over his left eye and started growing on his right eye. but that didn’t take away any aspect from his life, he was determined to go home with me. so i grew so freaking attached to him in a matter of minutes. i decided he’s my blind baby and bought him a new tank, gravel, and deco for the king he is. he was so lively and investigated everything the whole way home. event in his tank, most fish are shy. but not him! he’s all over the tank inspecting it and seems flashy still. not at all stressed! even when i come up, he watched me but doesn’t get scared (well i don’t know how well he can see me but i’ll take it). i’m so excited to get to now him and his determined self. it was honestly inspiring to see how happy he still is without most of his vision. i feel like he was put on that shelf for me to take home for a reason <3
