Hi friends!! I was planning on starting a divided male betta tank. I have a 10 gallon and have already ordered a nice divider from lifewithpetsgci.com. Any tips from you guys would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Divided tanks always do best with lots of live plants.Even if you have a divider in the tank keep a close eye on the fish. And the only good tank mates for five gallons each is snails and shrimp. Good luck!
I am looking into getting some mystery snails to keep the algae down. Thanks!
It sounds like you're already on a really good path!
I think my only suggestions might be looking into putting a sponge filter in either section for more even filtration/airation if you havent already, and of course, thought I've heard the LFP dividers are incredible, always have a backup tank just in case there is some issue or malfunction with the divider.
Also be sure you have a really good reliable adjustable heater, maybe even a wattage up, to be sure you can properly and evenly heat the whole tank even with the divider.
Thank you for your comment. I will make sure I have a backup for the divider!
