"Trick or treat smell my feet give me something good to eat." said Lyla, the adult answered "Uhh what are you dressed up as. The Queen of Hearts as a fish?" "No." Said Lyla "I'm the Queen of Hearts." "Then why do you have fins then?" asked the stupid adult. "I'm a fish." said Lyla. "Are you a fish, the Queen of Hearts or both." "I'm dressed up as the Queen of Hearts but I'm a fish." Lyla said in joy awaiting her candy. But alas she didn't get the candy the adult slammed the door in her face "Jeeze" Lyla exclaimed "All I wanted was some Nom noms but I guess not, what about the next house?" Lyla went door to door but the same thing happened over and over and over again.
"WHY IS EVERYONE SO RUDE AROUND HERE ALL I WANT IS SOME CANDY!!" Lyla screamed in frustration. A little kid walked up to Lyla and said "Why are you dressed up as the Queen of Hearts and a fish?" Lyla then understood why they thought that she was crazy, saying she was a fish and the Queen of Hearts but in reality she was dressed up as only one. Lyla exclaimed "Maybe if I take off my costume they will think I'm dressed up as a fish!" Lyla hurried back to her house went into her tank and dressed up like a human. "Now they will think I am dressed up as a fish. Time to try again."
All of the adults and children thought her costume was so good they even asked who made it and she always replied with "Me, I'm The best Costume Designer ever!" She got so.much candy and went back to her tank a happy little fish. After taking a bite of one she was heartbroken "These don't taste anywhere as good as Nom noms I have been cheated on."she said sulking "I thought these would taste good but they don't. But I'm hungry and I don't have any more Nom Noms." She laid down and cried for minutes untill momma got home. She rushed to momma and told her. "I went trick or treating for candy because I thought that candy would taste good but I was wrong. And we're all out of Nom Noms." Momma pulled out her secret stash of Nom noms and gave some to Lyla and Lyla was alas happy again.

I really relate to Lyla... when I was little I started to go trick-or-treating as a mouse but at the last minute decided to change into a fairy costume. I got a lot of weird looks from people and they kept asking what I was, which was bizarre to me since you'd think that the wings and wand would give it away. Needless to say, when I got home I saw that I'd forgotten to remove my mouse nose and whiskers which I HAD USED MARKER ON MY FACE TO MAKE b/c of course I did... At least it worked out well for Lyla. :)
