Today I lost 2 very special fish.
Vincent - Vincent was a double tail betta, named after his watercolor like appearance from an artist named Vincent van Goth. Vincent was very small for a betta and had a very strange shaped snout. His small strange size caused him to have many issues with swim bladder. I can't even remeber how many times I had to go through fasting and lowering water levels for him because he wasn't able to swim. Vincent had an amazing personality and ill never forget him.
Flare - Flare was a petal tail betta, and I must say one of the most stunning bettas I have ever seen! The dark royal blue mixed with the bright orange made him stand out. His favorite place was his betta log, he would spend most of his day chilling their waiting for some food to drop. Later on in his life he decided to start marbling making his body exactly half white, it was really neat to see him change as i never expected him to marble at all. I will forever loom at his photos and remeber how stunning he was.

I’m sorry for your loss🥺 unfortunately swim bladder issues are so, so common in double tails because inbreeding led to shorter bodies
