Please specify how this is related to bettas as if not, it could be counted as off-topic ^^
i was thinking about getting a mystery snail as a tank mate for my *betta*.
Mystery snails have a very large bioload and should have a minimum of 10 gallons if it is going to be a tankmate for your betta.
Ive kept my mystery snail in sand, gavel, and plant substrate. The gravel is the easiest to siphon the poop out, but sand will be fine as well
If you are looking into a snail friend for a tank less than 10 gallons, I recommend nerite snails. They are better at cleaning than mystery snails and they poop *slightly* less
i just ordered a 10 gallon tank+ lid from petco and i pick it up tomorrow. 5 gallons are too hard to work with decoration wise lol. Thank you!
