I was never had it this dirty how do I clean all of it?do I just do what I normally do and just clean it til clean water comes out or? Also I dont have money at the moment to just buy a new one.

Actually you should never wash your filter cartridges it has beneficial bacteria and by you washing them it kills the good bacteria

That's really weird. I didn't get any information on it from a staff member or anything and it just disappeared
I don't think there was anything wrong with it so i am very confused
Same as bella and Fluffy. I rinse in tank water just enough to remove any visible debris but don't expect the color to ever look clean again lol.
You can rinse it out in tank water or dechlorinated water, just make sure you don’t use chlorine water as that’ll harm your beneficial bacteria. But also keep in mind that it’s a filter and meant to get dirty. I wouldn’t get new ones because you’d basically be throwing your cycle away and you’d have to restart

Also, to add on, filter cartridges are really unnecessary and a waste of money to replace. Instead you could buy a sponge on amazon, cut it in half, and clean half every month or so :ok_hand: The sponges have more surface area so you can have more good bacteria, and only cleaning one allows you the ability to keep your filter from getting too dirty, but not removing almost all the good bacteria in the process. Also, the sponges are never needed to replace, so theyll last you years :ok_hand:
