I decided to try making some Catappa Extract. Because I only have mini leaves I used a couple handfuls [I have small hands xD]. I have fish coming tomorrow in the mail and was wondering how to use this stuff now that I have it. I have a little over 300 ml.

If you have new fish come in, I'd use about half the extract and save the rest for the first two water changes. Honestly, you cannot overdose and as long as you can still see into your tank, it will be fine :)
This may sound silly but what does this stuff do
I'm not exactly sure of all the benefits. I do know Indian Almond Leaves [or Catappa Leaves] have positive affects on bettas. I believe it can help with stress and I know it's often added to water to help treat fin rot.
I've been an avid advocate for using Indian Almond Leaves on here. The reason they are so good and many people rely on them is because the tannic acid in the leaves, which gives it that brown colour is very beneficial for treating and preventing bacterial, fungal and even some topical parasitic infections. The tannins are also something most fish instinctively like and it reduces stress from shipping, spawning etc.
The more the better !

I've used the leaves in my tanks but never tried the extract. I'm super curious and excited about it.
