So, I've been meaning to get some floater plants for Skipper's tank. I've been kind of lazy about it since none of my tanks currently have any, and I didn't want to pay for shipping just for them. But today, I just take the aquarium lid off and BAM, there they are.

The only way I can think of how they got there was they hitchhiked on some other plants, but it has been several months since I have added anything new, so I have my doubts. I'm thinking that they may also not be true floater plants, and instead, they are like little sprouts from seeds since one of my plants was flowering just a little while ago.

Yes that’s duckweed who chi definitely will hitchhike and can survive through many rough conditions. Make sure they don’t overtake your tank!
