I expressed concern in a later post about a small cut/rip in my blue VT'S tail. Upon closer inspection she does have a small rip, but my red one has 3 to 4 small white bumps/dots of her fins. I'm not sure what this means, but if anyone knows please tell me what to do

the rip on the blue's tail should heal up well with clean water and a little TLC... not sure about the red though...could be ich? I can't really tell from the pictures...Either way, I'd put her in a separate "hospital tank" with a heater and watch her. if the spots don't move it's probably ich and you can treat her with some medication.

seeing as its just a few spots, I'd say you probably caught it early, with any luck and a bit of treatment she'll be back to health in no time :)

Alright thank you, I'm a bit worried though because I've told my mom that she has ich and she's telling me we will be bringing the fish back tomorrow
