About Atticus

Atticus is an outgoing little guy! He’s always darting around the tank, but will occasionally take a break on a plant or behind the filter. He used to be timid, but is now coming out of his shell more!

I got atticus February 23, 2019, so I’ve had him a little over a year. I went to petco after my tank was finished cycling one weekend. I was there for about 30 minutes decideding between Atticus and another betta. I was originally getting the other betta, but at the last second in line I changed my mind.

His favorite food are his pellets which are Omega One. I haven’t fed him many treats, but I want to start doing that more.

My favorite memory of Atticus is when he first flared. It was pretty recent, maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago. The entire time I had him he never flared, but one day he started doing it and I got so excited.

I have had bettas in the past, but Atticus is the one who really got me into the hobby and I’m so glad that he has let me learn so much with him on this journey.
