My Entry For Bon Voyage!

Hello!! This is my entry for the #Summer2025 event!! It is currently an hour before my birthday as of posting this. Now I did use actual characters from Genshin Impact, Kaveh and Alhaitham.

But what summer is to me is long nights that are always hot. Summer is the beautiful plants that I'm very much allergic to. I've always had a summer birthday so it's also celebrating my birthday. I enjoy the nights of summer and the beauty within it.

What inspired this artwork was the ocean. The colors given to me reminded me of the beach (even though I've never been to one). And also I thought it would be fun to make Kaveh a mermaid in the honor of merMay, which for those who may not know what it is it's a play on mermaid and May and is sometimes a little challenge for some artists.

Small note:

For the shadows and light I used the proper colors and just used a multiply and add layer respectfully so it properly made shadows and light.
