Batman - Endless Fear Into Oblivion [Halloween Challenge] (warning, graphic gory descriptions!)

Arkham Asylum - 3:00 am

Friday, October 31st [Halloween]

All the inmates and staff of Arkham are being driven into madness to the point of killing each other or themselves from a toxin that drives people insane through fear. Scarecrow has once again created a new formula of fear gas that drives people to the point of chaotic madness from their hallucinations of their greatest fears. All but two inmates have faced their greatest fears. Harley Quinn and Joker are watching in awe as they watch everyone in the asylum go mad. One of the guards that is also being driven to madness accidentally hits a button that opens both Harley Quinn and Joker's cell doors.

"Yay! Freedom!" , Exclaimed Harley in excitement. Suddenly a guard comes running at Harley Quinn screaming beyond fear with a shard of glass in his hand to stab Harley. "Huh....?", Harley says as she turns around last minute and stands there and sees the guard charging right at her. But before she could react the Joker shoots the guard right in the head splattering blood and brain matter all over Harley Quinn as the guard collapses as a pool of blood begins to ooze all over the asylum floors. "Always hated that man. No sense of humor whatsoever. He might as well be Batman." Joker then pauses with a quick second thought then corrects himself. "Nah! Not even close, heh heh!". "Mistah J you actually saved me!", exclaimed Harley in a grateful tone. "What...? Saved you..?", asked the Joker in a confused and sarcastic tone. "Since when do I save anyone? Might I remind you that I'm a homicidal killer clown prince of crime?!".

"You just so happened to be here right as that daul guard was about to kill you when i shot his none sense of humor brains out. I wasn't trying to save you.", explained the Joker.

Joker then snaps at Harley Quinn in a harsh and intimidating tone, "I don't save anyone.... not even you. Got it...?".

"Y-yes Mistah J..." , frowned Harley.

The scene then focuses on Scarecrow as he's gassing his victims with their greatest and worst fears times worse than their minds can handle and begin killing either themselves or others.

The next scene now goes to the Batcave where Bruce Wayne himself gets the Arkham security breach and riot outbreak alert on the giant Batcomputer screen. Bruce then accesses the Arkham Asylum Security surveillance cameras and sees all the chaos and mayhem going on in Arkham Asylum and sees all the inmates running around loose from their cells and all Arkham staff and guards and inmates killing themselves or slaughtering others In the most grusum ways Bruce has ever seen. He then starts to put on the new latest Arkham Riot Batsuit armor prototype that Lucius Fox has developed for Bruce Wayne from Wayne Tech Industries archives. Bruce finishes putting on all of but a few parts of his suit. He puts on the armored cowl. Then he puts on his new utility belt full of new none lethal self defense weapons and gadgets and new forensics tech and also grabs some new different types of Batarangs. Some with high hypersonic frequices, some with electric charges to either stun enemies or just to restore power to something or some places and also with shorter timed explosives and some with sharper blades. Then he grabs some smoke bombs that put out thicker smoke with an extended time of how long the smoke lasts also newly developed by Lucius Fox.Then he puts on the tear resistant and fire retardant cape. Then he gets into the Batwing to get to the asylum faster. The jet engines start to whir as the after burners start to shoot out blue flames. The Batwing takes off flying through the Batwing tunnel that exits the Batcave.

Five minutes later Batman arrives at the Asylum in the Batwing and Batman drops from the Batwing onto the Asylum premises. Batman analyzes the situation that's going on in the Asylum. He sees a guard screaming like a maniac as he's clawing another guard's eyeballs out as they gush blood all over the guards hands and face. "This has to be Scarecrow's work.", observed Batman. Batman then puts on his gass mask to prevent him from breathing in the toxic fear gass and then not wasting another second throws a none lethal concussion grenade on the screaming guard as it detonates with the impact of the detonation knocking the guard out unconscious. Batman runs inside the Asylum and comes across the Scarecrow decapitating one of the Asylum's doctors with his scy

the splattering blood all over Scarecrow's face.

Batman then wastes no time and throws a Batarang at the Scarecrow's hand as it goes through his hand, "ahhh!", screamed the Scarecrow in pain causing him to drop the scythe. "You! I was wondering if you were ever going to show up?", Scarecrow asked in a demonic voice. "THIS MADNESS ENDS NOW SCARECROW!!!!", growled Batman. Batman then throws an electric charged Batarang at the Scarecrow but gets deflected by Scarecrow's scythe. Batman then quickly takes out the Batclaw and shoots it at Scarecrow's scythe and snatches it out of his hands. "Clever Bats, but not clever enough. I have a little game for you Batfreak....", Scarecrow then reveals the security camera screens showing both the Tim Drake Robin and the Commissioner James Gordan in he padded cells tied up onto a cair shackled to the ground. "I have two of your allies locked in two different padded cells with a ticking time bomb in each one. But not just any ordinary bomb, a fear gass pumping bomb. You currently have less then 1 minute to find your ally and stop that bomb.", Scarecrow said confidently. "And in that padded cell is knife that the fear gass from the bomb will cause your ally to slit their own throat with and bleed to death.", Scarecrow explained. "Oh. And by the way, you only have time to save one ally. Can you save them Batman...? Tick tock Batman... the time is ticking. HAHAHAAA HAHA!, laughed Scarecrow. Batman then unexpectedly throws a blow to the Scarecrow knocking him out then handcuffs him with Batcuffs to the Asylum wall pipping.

Batman then races off to save his Allies then comes across the Joker and Harley Quinn but races past them focused on trying to save his Allies' lives first before dealing with them. Batman then sees one of the cells that Robin is in and not wasting time he throws an explosive Batarang at the cell door then detonates and blows the cell door off it's hinges. "Batman!" Robin yelled relieved to see his partner rescuing him. "Robin, do you know where the Commisioner is?!", asked Batman. "Yeah! Just untie me and I'll worry about the Commisioner and you defuse that bomb!" Robin said wanting to help. "No time!" Stated Batman. "What?!", asked Robin in shock. "The bomb I meant!, stated Batman. Batman quickly takes out a Batarang with sharper blades and quickly slices through the ropes in one cut easily. "Come on!", Batman yells. "This way! The Commissioner is not too far from here at all we still have time to save him!", explains Robin. They both run through the Asylum corridor and find the Commisioner. Batman throws another explosive Batarang at the cell door and blows it off the wall. Batman races in and cuts the Commisioner loose. "Batman! Thank God!", Said the Commisioner thankful to see the Batman saving him.

Moments later Batman finds the source of the gass flowing through Arkham Asylum and stops it and reverses the fear gass effects on the victims still alive.

We get to a scene where there are a bunch of police cars and ambulances all parked in front of the Asylum with their red and blue lights flashing and lighting up the entire street side of the Asylum. Then we get to another scene where the Commissioner is talking to Batman and Robin and then shaking hands and walking away.
