it's a bit cliché but to help with art block i usually explore characters or character variations i don't particularly care about for practice. that gives me the freedom to get messy.
for poses, i enjoy adding props so that it doesn't look like the character is just standing or sitting there doing nothing. it doesn't necessarily have to be a weapon either. it can be something mundane.
ALSO MUSIC. i daydream so much with music.. lots of ideas in this tiny noggin of mine when im vibing
