We’re starting our drill tomorrow! Very exciting! But we’re trying learning it with drill charts instead of coordinates! This got me thinking, how do you learn your shows?
That’s it, have a great day/night!

Mine has both and cheat sheets with the counts, but we mainly use the drill chart thing.
Coordinate but might change this year since we got two new directors
In high school, my director just gave us numbers and told us where to go. I think he did that because we almosy always has people drop band after the drill was written and we usually had to change numbers in the middle of the show to keep there from being to mamy holes. I think my college band uses dot sheets, but I'm not sure. They gave us dot sheets for how they wanted us to be in the stands but I'm not sure if they use dot sheets for the entire show. I've never heard of a coordinate sheet. They seem helpful.
I have never seen or have heard of the Coordinate sheet! I think I’d like to try that. My band has only ever used charts.
