Highlights of the Month! {July 1st - July 24th}

Hi everyone! It's me earth! Today the newsteam and I are releasing the fourth highlight sectional!

What are highlights?

Highlights are going to be a

monthly summary of all the featured posts regarding Avatar, categorized into four categories:

-Drawings

-Blogs

-Quizzes

-Other

Also, as a disclaimer, please do not take any offense if you do not make it into these months highlights! This is just a fun thing Avatar Amino wanted to try! If you have any suggestions for next months highlights you can PM me! :green_heart:

DRAWINGS

1) Avatar World Map by Leela Mahon

First we have this amazing watercolor map! I thought it was really cool how you labeled the landmarks! Awesome job! :green_heart:

2) Team Avatar Drawing by Amy

This drawing of Team Avatar is beautiful! I loved how you colored it. Nice work Amy!

3) Longshot Drawing by Yannizo

This one was awesome! I've never seen a drawing of Longshot and I really like the angle you drew him it! :green_heart:

4) WIP Art by Danny

Even though these aren't done, they are amazing! You're really good at realistic art! Great job danny! :green_heart:

5) Teo Drawing by Merre

Teo never gets drawn and so it was so cool that you drew him! I especially liked how you drew him flying in his wheelchair-glider!

6) Sokka Drawing by the Magic Turtle

I really loved how you edited your drawing! And also how he's holding his boomerang. Great work!

7) Tiny Jet by Pweza

This drawing was done by Pweza! The way you drew Jet's smile was so cute! Pweza has a series of these "Tiny people" so make sure to check it out!

8) Chibi Jiin by Jiin

Last but not least, Jiin's drawings of chibi Jiin! I loved how you drew these! The one breathing fire cracked me up :joy: ! Great work Jiin! :green_heart:

1) Face Angle Tutorial by Toph Beifong

This tutorial was very helpful for a lot of people, including me! This blog was posted at the end of last month but it didn't get recognition in the highlights so I thought I would include it here! Great tutorial!

2) The Tylo Fanfiction Guide by Tylo

If you want to learn how to write fan fiction this is a perfect guide! It's really helpful and I recommend it! Nice job Tylo! :green_heart:

3) Earth's Guide to Editing (Part 1)

AvatarJames suggested my guide in the blogs category! Thank you very much! If you want to learn basic beginner editing you should check it out!

4) The Winner of the Avatar Olympics!

The Olympics were so fun! Here you can find out the Winning nation! Including which nation got 2nd and 3rd!

I hate to put my own posts in the highlights, but the newsteam said I should! This is an edit about Korra's Character development through the series. It focuses on Season 3 and Season 4.

I really loved this edit you did. It was beautiful! And I love the story behind it. You should all check out Danny's edits. Amazing job once again!

4) Prince Zuko Cosplay by BluPixelFox

This cosplay was jaw dropping! Everything was on point! The hair, the costume, and the scar looked so realistic! It looked like Zuko actually stepped out of the show. Wonderful job! :green_heart:
