Hello everyone! I’m back with more art. This time it’s an ATLA comic.

My poor attempt at being funny

Context:

This is sometime right after Zuko becomes the new fire lord and he’s reflecting on his... trauma regarding his father Ozai and sister Azula, who both scarred him, literally. He confides in Sokka, who then says the first thing that comes to mind...

I think it’s ok to just say the direct reference from the show? Since this show came out in like 2005 so it’s not spoilers anymore.

Basically I got inspired by that one scene that’s become a meme in this fandom where Sokka tells Zuko “my girlfriend turned into the moon” and Zuko only says “that’s rough buddy” :skull:

So the joke here is that this whole time Sokka held onto that moment and had a grudge SHFH :weary: oh how the tables have turned...

Oh also the quote Zuko says is from the cartoon Phineas and Ferb (even tho I haven’t watched the show much, don’t @ me :weary: )

And the “Did...Did you just hold a grudge?” Is a Dragon Ball Z abridged reference but I doubt anyone would get it :pensive: :v:
