So avatar news announced that they will be making a legend of korra sequel with the next element earth. Also along those lines is they said the new avatar will also have a movie coming to theaters. What are your opinions? Do you think that genji oc be the new avatar that's been popular?

Genji will not be the next Avatar. It is a fanfic, and if Avatar Studios had decided to make it canon, that would have been part of the announcement. Not to mention that Genji’s origin story is too similar to Kyoshi’s and it wouldn't make for good storytelling.

Also Genji being canon means Korra dies young and lots of people would not be happy about that

I agree with you on all that was said, just wanted to throw it out there just in case was all. I'm really excited though and hope it's someone not related to a main character or side character.

I very much doubt it would be Genji I just think it would be cool or at very least be cool to see a sand bender as an avatar or see the avatar utilise sand bending
