Tbh. Most of the other characters in LOK were like that. The show had plenty of potentially amazing characters but unfortunately did not have the time to work on them as thoroughly as the TLA series
i agree but i love her nonetheless
Asami is probably the best character in LoK’s team avatar she’s arguably the most relatable in the whole group. And had the most well written “character arc” the writers literally had so many opportunities to make her one of the best characters in the show. But every significant moment she has is either rushed or discarded. Which is something that I hate cause Asami was the most interesting character in LoK team avatar.
Yeah, I thought the series had WAY too fast pacing, and characters were barely able to breathe. In the first episode alone, we: find out Aang is dead, Katara is old, they have kids, they have grandkids, there are more airbenders, we meet Korra the new Avatar and her parents, she leaves to Republic City, we meet equalist protesters, and Lin

Damn no kidding that’s way too fast. Which is honestly one of the bigger problems of LoK as a whole. There’s too many characters that were introduced to us and they were only either pushed to the side for more or forgotten. And none were given the proper amount of time to be fully fleshed out and be fully considered relatable. But yeah no I totally 100% agree with you.
Asami, well, at first I thought she was gonna be the stuck up type, and I thought I was gonna hate her but I actually ended up enjoying the series with an actual Non-bender.
Asami is not a character she is a plot device and a joke
Uh... how??
