𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 || Cafe AU

//It has been a long while since ive actually written anything. And usually when i do, it is of course of erwin and levi. For this, will be the two, held in a more modern AU. It may be a bit rough, but i do hope you enjoy//

All within the same theme, held two in one. A cafe, along side selling tea shop. A short male covering one side while one who wore glasses, covered the other. Just like any other day, both were of good service. Serving their customers with upmost great drinks, fit for any season and weather. Yet with low amount of employment, which of course only included two, they could only do so much.

Levi, which was the shorter male, took care of things tea related. Of course, he sold only the finest collections of international tea leaves, but also brewed for his customers who wanted it then and there. Hange, of course taller than the male took care of the roast. Coffee in all flavors, or even light fresh beverages. She so happens loves to experiment with many syrups, and it only ended up being lucky that they actually taste good. Held Levi in disbelief and continues to refuse to ever taste or drink any of what she makes. Both worked in one shop resident. It all worked out and all looked nice and neat.

"Levi!~ since you arent busy, can you go in the back and grab me a restock of the cups?"

The shorter male had only glared at her, however went ahead to the back. Both were highschool friends, up to college until opening. With both of them now being out of school, they had all the time. So of course the glare was only one of many remarks on the usual.

Just as the raven had went to the back, hange managed both. Yet the tea side was only so modern, it wasnt so busy. Sometimes it was however. Speaking of, the melody sound rang underwhelmingly quiet as another customer of their had entered. Yet not the usual. Appearently hange always took the social note when it came to customer's faces, and well, this, was new. Tall, blonde, coat and scarf. He seemed modernly fancy and looked rich. Hange only assumed he could he a business man on another coffee run. Yet to her surprise, he didnt go over to where she was. Instead, he went to the wall that held assorted tea leaves. Hange finished off her last customer. She went over to the tall male, leaning forward on the counter, at the same time, observing him.

"Welcome, you seem new, so this is Levi's Tea Shop! I manage Coffee varieties. Yet I couldnt help but notice you come here. How may i help you"

"Pleasure to meet you. Well, I was wondering if there was an opening?-"

"Oi, hange..."

Seemed she was only wrong. He wasnt a business man, just not employed. The raven had looked at both of them. Yet his attention averted to the one, in front, of hange. But he continued speaking otherwise.

"You either took it home, or misplaced it. Go find it, your restock"

"hah hah! Mustve... opening you say? Ill leave you to the manager for that part sir."

As the taller of Levi, approached him, she nudged him in the back, only to be ignored. The shorter approached the blonde, his reaction didnt show it, but his thoughts were loud in his head. 'Hes fucking taller...' luckily he kept his mouth shut, and only spoke of work

"How may I help you?"

"I was wondering if you were hiring by chance. I could hand you my resume-"

"no need. Fill this out"

He slid over to him two stapled papers that held a survey and a fill in for his information. Second paper held guidelines, requirements, background information of their shop. Which had only lead the blonde to chuckle. Smiling just softly enough to catch the raven's attention. Perking an eyebrow.

"Something the matter?"

"hm... not at all"

Retrieving to a table and chair right beside the window with a mug of coffee, he filled out information needed for the application. Levi couldnt help but from time to time, glance toward him. And even in time, coming back to the counter for the turned in papers. Just before erwin was to part from the counter, the voice of the raven halted him.

"do you have anywhere to be?"

"No, I was going to finish a few more business tabs where ive settled"

Levi looked toward the chair by the window and motioned a gesture to the one closer to his counter. Comfortable booth seats near the enterance of levi's counter.

"Ill have you finish there. Until i finish my shift to do your interview"

Caught him by suprise, holding an interview the same day he had just seen the shop. But he complied otherwise and moved his belongings to the comfortable area. It only took just another hour or so, for the evening night sky to fill the outside. Erwin kept himself occupied with pure patience, suppose what kept him was his iration of the raven. Hange left an hour early since then. Leaving Levi to close the shop and just as peaceful, now only left him, and a humble tall blonde. Soon taking a seat accross from him, Erwin closing his computer respectfully turning his attention to the smaller, sat in front of him.

"You seem fit and if possible, I would like you to start thursday. You are certainly qualified and great for both of our provided products. . . I have one question. . . You are employed in business, yet came here for a job, why is that?"

"Im not too fond of the poor and rich, or commoner. I wanted to experience it myself of living both high and low... however, im also just tired of paperwork. . . I want something more, living."

His voice stern, almost rung in Levi's ears. His voice was as if he was giving a speech at a business meeting, or just very commanding, in a certain way. Regardless, its as if the raven felt like a magnet, he was drawn to the other easily. Even though erwin's response was elaborate, he returned his response, as short as normal.

Even when be spoke, blue eyes, was just as drawn to him without a notice. Looking into his eyes, not being the one to break , but took notice of how the other's body language was, adjusting to be more respectable of it.

"Right. . . Im sure this space will be just as living for you. You start with hange"

Sounding blunt and quick, while he stood and took the papers with him. Leaving with no exchange of a goodbye, but leaving erwin with such lasting curiousity.

The blonde only released a small breathful chuckle before he as well, had taken his leave from the warm environment.
