About how the presence of
possible of possible misogyny
in it became an issue. I'm
writing to put my own
reasonings about this offer
and why I wasn't against it.
Just simply putting out my
opinion out there.

Before he mercilessly starts getting attacked by all sorts of people I want to say a few things about this whole #TrueBeauty issue going.

1. To portray the vile side of something, that something needs to be put out there first.So even if misogyny is in this story, that doesn't mean it's showing their towards it. This could be a really good way to point out such a glaring problem carried on by our society to this day.

2. I get that some of us are worried about the writer being problematic.But they won't be the one writting the script.There's a really huge difference between a author conducting her story and someone else making a life action version out of it. I'm hoping for the best. That's why I am counting on Eunwoo and Fantagio's judgement, since they are the ones who actually went through the script of the drama, not us.

3.Binnie as Oh Je represented such a sensitive topic for Korea.I am so proud of him for that and he did amazing.I'm a Roha too,I want what's best for Eunwoo as well. So if he represents such an important issue, I think it'll really be wonderful.And also as a girl, I think to put this issue out there will bring more attention to it, will make more people aware of it. Which will be of help instead. To simply shadow the problem WILL BRING US NOWHERE.

4. All the Rohas who didn't want Eunwoo to take this role or were otherwise concerned please know that I'm not putting you down. You people are amazing. In this case my opinion stands away from the majority that's all.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Another concern that people had was that the way the highschoolers are portrayed there won't match with how usually is done with Korean dramas matching with their own culture and my point is that the script writer and director who are from Korea will know that, or if there are inconsistencies like that and stuffs. And thus will be able to fix it.

6. Lastly an example. Even before Joker was released it got so many vein criticisms.Saying that it's a film that s or showcases violence.A lot of people made comments even before seeing the movie.And it turned out it showed the importance of mental health.Just because a story carries negative element doesn't necessarily mean it's flaunting the flaw.
I hope I was able to get my points across properly.I don't know about others but I know Rohas will our boy.I loved how everyone kept saying if he says yes, they'll definitely him and that's the beauty of our fandom.And before you mention, I am concerned about his health too.

Honestly from where I see, he's been working non-stop since #HandsomeTigers . It's A LOT!
I really really hope he'll consider his health too. He is someone who loves to work, so I always feel really happy when I see him getting more schedules, I feel happy cause I'll get to see him, I feel proud that his hardwork is getting recognized but I also worry that it might become too much.
So since he and Fantagio said yes to this proposal, I hope there would be a fair amount of gap between #GateWay promotions and his shooting schedules. For a while Eunwoo's been saying that he likes the way he treats himself now. So I am hoping it'll continue. That he'll stay safe.
Lastly, I believe in his guts, he is the one who saw the actual script of the drama, I absolutely trust his reasonings. So let's hope for the best. At the end of the day I'm just so happy and proud of him. Can't wait for my Actornim to be back on my screen. I love him so much. Everything he does, he does it with such dedication, his towards his work is just so commendable. He never fails to make me happy by just being himself.... :heart:

this post is really sweet ! i’m sure every aroha is super proud of eunwoo and for everything he’s done, but i agree that he himself and us arohas definitely need to think about his health too, as that comes first. i hope he’ll be alright and take it all easily even though he’s always super busy nowadays. eunwoo is so hardworking and we all love him so much,, we’re all rooting for him. thank you for this, it definitely deserved a feature ~ 🥺 :heartpulse:
